Chuck
Ferguson
Ordinary is not on
the radar in the Meridian Company’s business description. They build
a home to endure for generations to come. Being raised and trained
in Historic Newport, Rhode Island, owner Chuck Ferguson has learned
through restoring antique homes the true value of quality. Ferguson,
formally trained as a Mechanical engineer has been building and
restoring homes since 1983. After arriving in Charleston two days
before Hurricane Hugo it was obvious that the Low country was to be
his home. He has called Beaufort his home now for sixteen years. He
and his wife Carman reside in Seabrook on a farm with horses and
Labrador retrievers.

identity. They have an in-house cabinet shop, a team of expert
carpenters and an amazing project coordinator, Jennifer Logan. The
